The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the hadith of musyarawah to the communication style of the head of the sub-section of the administration of the culture and tourism office of South Sulawesi province, UPT museum and cultural park in improving employee performance. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out by conducting observations, interviews, documentation and reference searches. The data sources used were primary sources and secondary data sources. Data processing and analysis techniques went through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study concluded that the communication style of the Head of the Sub-Section of Administration of the Culture and Tourism Office of South Sulawesi Province, UPT Museum and Cultural Park uses the Equalitarian Style communication style, namely a two-way communication style seen by always holding deliberations such as in meetings, providing motivation, democratic leadership and harmonious relationships involving the Head of UPT and all staff under him. The application of the two-way communication style in question is in accordance with the hadith of musyawarah narrated by Abu Daud and Bukhari. The implications that can be obtained from this study are that a leader must apply a communication style that is appropriate to the situation and conditions. Therefore, the author expects all leaders on duty to use a two-way and more open communication style in order to create good communication with staff so that staff can work better too
