Abstract

This study examines conflict management strategies at MA Muhammadiyah Poso by exploring the internalization of the Sintuwu Maroso cultural values as a culturally grounded approach to Islamic educational management. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research involved the principal, three vice principals, and six teachers as participants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, with credibility ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal four major conflict management practices: open deliberation before decision-making, personal and family-oriented approaches by school leaders, mutual support among staff, and prioritizing institutional interests over individual or group concerns. These practices reflect the Islamic principles of ukhuwah, ta'awun, tabayyun, and islah, fostering a religious, harmonious, and collaborative organizational culture. The study concludes that integrating Sintuwu Maroso into conflict management provides a contextual model of Islamic educational management rooted in local wisdom for multicultural settings.
